Toronto would have to take back Scuderi. Kunitz and Dupuis are still likely useful players even in decline. This deal would completely destroy Pittsburgh's future. I really can't see it being in the Penguins best interest nor do I think Pittsburgh would be making the best offer for Kessel. Only way I see this going down is if Kessel won't waive his NTC.

Pens aren't trading for kessel. They are about to make a big splash at the draft. Either for Oshie or hudler. Rutherford is about to make a big trade.

They don't have a 1st for one, and if they did I don't think you'd get it plus Maata, would have to be a 2nd or a slightly less impactful player.

Also don't think Pens move any D given it's their soft spot.
